Self-Introduction:
Dr. Song was assigned to the Radiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University in 1970. He furthered his training in imaging at Xinhua Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Second Medical University from 1974-1975, and in CT technology at Siemens in Germany in 1983. He worked in the Radiology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital, serving as a Resident and Assistant Professor. In 1985, he was promoted to Director of Radiology and Department Chair. In 1986, he was exceptionally promoted to Associate Senior Professional Title. From 1985, he held leadership positions in professional technology, serving as Director of Imaging and Director of the Imaging Center, concurrently overseeing the Maintenance and Computer Center. He also served as the Director of the Imaging Program at Kunming Medical College and the Director of the Yunnan Medical Imaging Clinical Application Research Center.
As a member of the Yunnan Medical Association, he served as a council member, Chairman of the Yunnan Radiology Branch, and National Council Member of the Chinese Society of Radiology. He currently holds honorary positions as Honorary Council Member of Yunnan Medical Association and Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Radiology Branch, and is a medical accident appraisal expert for provincial and municipal authorities.
