The Ultrasound Department currently conducts ultrasound diagnosis and research for multi-sys- tem and multi-disciplinary diseases, including abdominal, cardiac, whole-body vascular, superficial organ, musculoskeletal, and obstetrics/gynecology ultrasound examinations. Additionally, the department performs specialized diagnostic and therapeutic techniques such as transesophageal ultrasound, organ (tumor) contrast-en- hanced ultrasound, left and right heart contrast-enhanced ultrasound, hysterosalpingography, and ultrasound-guided clinical interventional procedures.
Specialized Technologies
Ultrasound-guided interventions (biopsy, drainage, sclerothera- py, tumor ablation).
Transesophageal echocardiography and cardiac speckle tracking.
Pre-and postoperative assessment of vascular access (arterio- venous fistula, catheters).
Tumor and lesion contrast-enhanced ultrasound, gastrointestinal contrast.
Fetal nuchal translucency (NT) scan, fetal 4D ultrasound, fetal cardiac ultrasound.
Neonatal cranial and lung ultrasound, pediatric joint ultrasound.

Departments
The Orthopedics Department specializes in open surgeries for cervical and lumbar spine diseases, hip and knee joint replacements and revisions, minimally invasive spinal and joint endoscopic surgeries, limb and pelvic trauma surgeries, replantation of severed fingers/limbs, flap repair, and the treatment of multiple injuries to facilitate rapid recovery.
Spinal Cord and Spine Departmen
This department is dedicated to the treatment of spinal cord injuries. Led by Director Zhu Hui, former director of the Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Center of Kunming General Hospital of PLA, the team combines expertise in neurosurgery, orthopedics and rehabilitation, with rich experience in treating acute and chronic spinal cord injuries. Its treatment outcomes have gained international recognition in the field of spinal cord injury.
The Cardiology Department specializes in treating common cardiovascular diseases, including coronary heart disease (angina, myocardial infarc- tion), heart failure,cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, arrhythmias, and hypertension.
