Kunming Tongren Hospital Officially Opens Its Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department

To further enhance the hospital’s capacity for treating critical and severe illnesses as well as overall clinical services, the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department of Kunming Tongren Hospital officially opened on March 18.

Guo Meibao, Executive Director of Tian’an Zhuojian and Chairman of Tongren Medical Industry Group, Duan Zhicong, President of Kunming Tongren Hospital, Vice Presidents Shen Ling and Tang Bin, Chief Financial Officer Zhao Bei, together with directors of all clinical departments of the hospital, attended the opening ceremony.

The official opening of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department marks an important milestone in the hospital’s Phase II development project. As the Phase II project is gradually completed and becomes fully operational, the hospital will achieve comprehensive progress in medical technology innovation, discipline development, and brand recognition. It will continue to move steadily toward its goal of becoming a benchmark Grade A tertiary non-public hospital with the largest scale, standardized management, and premium services in Southwest China.

The opening of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department not only marks the launch of a brand-new clinical treatment service at the hospital, but also serves as an important milestone in the hospital’s Phase II development project, laying a solid foundation for the further expansion of clinical specialties, the upgrading of medical facilities, and the enhancement of service quality.
